Advanced Contact Manager is a simple contact management solution for your sales and technical support teams to keep track of your customers, open issues and call and contact history.

Pros: Sales & technical support teams, any other customer-facing group for that matter, can manage contact history through this tool. Keep track of customers, open issues and call history easily. Incoming/ outgoing calls, incoming/ outgoing mails are what can be entered into record in this application. Call details can be recorded with additional details to categorize them, Product and product categories on which discussion took place, priority of high/ medium/ low can be assigned and the status can be recorded at the end of the call. Main area of this pop up is the details of the conversation. Status could be one of open, in process, assign, closed, suspend or reject. Call history is organized as a table that contains the fields call id, priority, status, category, phone number and start of call time and the client name. This table can be sorted ob any one of the field and ion ascending or descending order. Add, edit and delete tools for editing of this history table is available.

Client details are organized by client id, category, client name, phone number and website address. Detailed and summary reports can be created out of the history created for every email, call, client, issue and user. Summary report shows how many calls/emails were in what status category for a date range. If need be, categories can be selected that you need to look at. The settings page is a simple pop up that lets you just click the simple options to create the report. Detailed report works similarly through a similar settings page and is also for a given date range. The detailed report prints the status of each call with status, priority etc.

Cons: While the application is organized to capture the history of customer contact effectively, real effectiveness is determined by how well the history is recorded by someone.

Overall: Quite a bit of effective features, fairly easy to use too. This one is rated at 3 stars.
